Rodger Slott has been providing commercial photography services with exuberant professionalism for 30 years. A photojournalism graduate of Black Hills State University, he worked in the Dallas, Texas commercial photography market for nearly ten years and then returned to South Dakota at the behest of local agencies. He has been the sole proprietor of Flashbox CPS (Commercial Photography Studio) in Rapid City, South Dakota, since 1998 and has received dozens of awards for photography, both in advertising and book publishing during that time. 

Flashbox CPS has long term relationships with many clients and created imagery in recent years for Black Hills Corp, GoldenWest Communications, Black Hills Eye Institute, Rapid City Regional Hospital, Great Western Bank, First Interstate Bank, Rapid City YMCA, Prairie Berry Winery and Miner Brewing Company, and the South Dakota Department of Health. Whether you want to send him in solo to get the best shot possible, or art direct beside him all day long, he's your shooter.


PERSONAL Rodger enjoys traveling, both for Flashbox and for personal time. He has traveled the US and also been to Japan, Cambodia, Singapore, Spain, France, and Great Britain. Rodger has Flashbox CPS as a home office, the home being shared with his wife, two sons and their pets. Cooking, camping, church activities, baseball and experimenting with the newest plugins for Photoshop are all additional pastimes.
